Formed in 2006 by guitarists Mike Morrison and Dave Kelly, Leghorn has quickly become
one of the premier country rock bands in Central Pennsylvania. They perform
regularly throughout Central Pa and cover an incredibly wide range of musical
styles. Playing everything from Toby Keith to Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers
to Kenny Chesney, an evening with Leghorn has something for everyone. Guitarists
Mike Morrison (Hired Guns) is highly regarded as one of the top guitarists
in Central Pennsylvania. Frontman Dave Kelly developed his craft through 13 years
of touring the country with local and national acts. Originally from New York
City, bassist Andy Alonso has performed with some of the biggest names in R &
B and funk, and has been one of the most in demand bassists in New York. Drummer
Dave Brinkley, Leghorn's newest member, brings incredible talent on drums and
vocals. They have played with artists too numerous to mention, including Charlie
Daniels, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Marshall Tucker, John Berry, David Alan
Coe, Keith Anderson, Restless Heart, Ricochet and many others. The band appears at some of Pennsylvania's top clubs including Tubby's in Duncannon, Champions in Highspire and the Winner's Circle Saloon in Grantville.
